Ecological Opinion

Does anyone know which is more ecological? Oil or Acrylic Artist’s Paints? My knee-jerk answer was to say acrylic. But, keep in mind acrylic is plastic. Plastic is a petroleum product.

With one you need Chemicals to clean up, with the other you are putting more plastic into the world. Which is better for the environment in the long run?

Today was spent working away on the above e-book, “Polymer People: An Artist’s Method of Sculpting Hands and Feet in Polymer Clay”.
