Site

I have heard from several that they had problems with the site last weekend. Rest assured that it is now smooth as silk. The problem was the host was having a hardware issue, and it has been taken care of. As always, if you have any problem with the site loading, or information shown, please let us know.

Rest assured that even though the area I live in (SE Kansas) is having a great deal of flooding, we are all safe and sound. There has been evacuation in areas surrounding us, but we are on high enough ground that we should be fine unless the entire town goes under water.

Because of the volume, I am no longer able to personally answer each email. So please forgive me if you do not get a personal answer to emails. Emails concerning business transactions of course are always answered right away.

Site Problems Update
This weekend my host had a 'drive issue'. This caused the site to be unstable for at least 48 hours and totally down for 12. (I am leaving out the part where I told them a few weeks ago that the my site was unstable and was assured, of course, that it was NOT at their end)
The site seems to be fine now. (But who knows how many customers where unable to get where they needed) I received some emails, but I am sure that was just the tip of the ice berg.
(Parenthesis used to emphasis whining in public is not professional ;0)
----------
Don't forget the sale on Profit with Your Passion Ends June 30th! And I apologize for any inconvenience over the weekend anyone had with the site.

Update - Beading and Sale
"Make a Profit with Your Passion: Starting a Home-Based Art Business"
On sale until June 30th - $6.99 Regularly $9.99

New Work
------------
Although it is less than an inch wide and a bracelet, I must be a slow beader because this took much longer than I anticipated. But I was determined to finish it!
I showed this the other day and decided it needed more work. I had this covered with painters tape to keep the fringe out of the way while adding more fringe on the bottom. When I pulled all the tape off the first thing I thought was that it looks like a dress from 1985, lol.

AHT Just a fun update
Just for fun, I have been making these little amulet bags, so I thought I would share some of them on here. The first one is my favorite, and the last one is one that is progress. They were all made with size 11 glass seed beads.

I was told by Chris Baty that our region of ScriptFrenzy has gotten more PR than any other region. I wish I could take credit for that but I think the Kudos go to the attitude of the region as a whole. The arts community is very close-knit, and supportive of each other, which I suppose is a necessary for artists in an extremely rural area.
My goal is to finish my 20,000 words for ScriptFrenzy by the end of this week. Leaving the remainder of the time to do some much needed editing.

Question: What has 4469 and 37 subscribers?
Answer: This blog and Kansas Region of ScriptFrenzy http://www.scriptfrenzy.org/
----------
The problem with the site seems to not be the host, but somewhere between them and myself that the connection went wacky. But all seems well now. I tend to blame the weather; it was so windy we had power outages in the region.

Still staying calm...
Site is now up and down, with more up time. Still no word from the host, as to why? or what they are doing to resolve it. Time to look for a new host if they do not resolve the issue and make it right.
Trying not to loose my balance....
OK, I am trying very hard to keep my sanity today. Had many sales over the weekend, which is a good thing. Now the bad news...
I woke up this morning to find my site is completely down. COMPLETELY down. And of course the host I have been using for the last few years now, no longer has their phone number on their site to speak with a real live human being. So all I have gotten are canned answers through their 'ticket system', that tell me nothing.
