“Behind the curtain” working furiously and of course “Control Your Creative Clutter”

I am working on revamping a large percentage of Artist-How-To, from the site, to how it is marketed. So much so, that some would say it is insane! So sadly there are some things not being shown as I work frantically ‘behind the curtain’.

For one thing I realize my blog has not been that exciting lately. I can only hope that in a few months you (and I) will think it was all worth it :0)

Continues to sell very well….

“Controlling Creative Clutter: Organizing the Artist’s Studio”

Sixty-eight pages of tips, worksheets and information on organizing,
to help you get your studio or work area together and keep it that
way. As a working artist, Diane knows how difficult it can be to have
materials take over a work space.

Fall is here and the weather is getting cooler, I have to say I was not made for Kansas heat and humidity and I much prefer this weather! I still have cotton in my garden, at least until the first frost. To see its progress over the summer visit my garden blog http://willartforfood.blogspot.com

This is the first time for growing cotton, so I am anxious for it to open up already!

Artst-How-To - Balls and Other News of Interest

Do you want to see my balls? Balls of variegated thread balls that is? New lesson on how to make your own, and a new article on copyright issues

This past week we have been throwing around the idea of not only offer classes, but also adding a wiki to the site. Adding a wiki will enable free sharing of ideas, and support. I would love to continue to hear thoughts from everyone concerning either.

Shipping fees have been lowered in my ETSY shop so check it out! I will be moving things around this evening so keep an eye out for a clearance category.
---------
And speaking of moving around, I am upgrading the site's space. This involves moving the site to a new server. So, just in case, be aware that this may cause things to behave funky over the next 48 hours or so. I have not noticed anything yet, but just in case.

Interesting Links

I LOVE podcast. And whenever I find one that I truly enjoy I can barely contain myself. A friend informed me of the following online radio show and I think it is perfect for any quilter out there. Best of all you can download it and listen to it at your convenience on your Mp3 player.

The next link is for those interested in setting up blog with RSS capabilities.

If your not yet ready to take the plunge with RSS, the home page contains links to myriad of useful reading. http://www.toprankblog.com/

The final one is my favorite. It is a massive list of free online education, including MIT, UCLA, and Berkeley.

That wraps up this weeks annoucement. Feel free to share this with anyone you think could benefit from its contents.
