Ecological Opinion

Does anyone know which is more ecological? Oil or Acrylic Artist’s Paints? My knee-jerk answer was to say acrylic. But, keep in mind acrylic is plastic. Plastic is a petroleum product.

With one you need Chemicals to clean up, with the other you are putting more plastic into the world. Which is better for the environment in the long run?

Drop me an email if you have an opinion or know where to send me for any up-to-date information.
